  • Provider staff who want to increase their capacity for helping persons with disabilities obtain employment – including individuals in day habilitation or day programs, students moving from high school to employment, and those who are supported though not yet successfully engaged in community employment. 

  • Occupational Therapists who are interested in helping clients successfully move into employment.

  • Special education teachers, transition coordinators, and professionals who are working with students who can benefit from the additional support that Discovery and Customized Employment provide. 

  • Parents who want to deepen their understanding of Discovery and Customized Employment principles and practices so that they can advocate for and support their adult children.

  • VR Counselors and Medicaid Waiver Support Coordinators who want to deepen their understanding of Discovery and Customized Employment, understand how it varies from traditional Supported Employment, and how they can facilitate quality services for customers.

Additional Benefits

Those who successfully complete the course (by maintaining class participation and completing homework) will receive an ACRE Certificate with an Emphasis on Customized Employment.

This class is also the starting point for those who are interested in working alongside an expert mentor to deepen their Customized Employment skills through MG&A’s Performance-Based Certification—and those who may consider working with MG&A to become a mentor in the future.

Course Fees

  • The Individual rate is $850.00 per person.

  • Training will be hosted on MG&A’s training platform. Registrants will receive further instructions once confirmed.
